Age, War
Words are strange
Age is just a number
“I’m 83-years-old,” I imagined saying to someone to set the joke up.
“Age is just a number,” I imagined them saying. People say that a lot. “Age is just a number.”
But that’s stupid.
Age is not a number.
It’s a word.
And it’s spelled A G E.
War is not the answer
People also say: “War is not the answer.”
But that depends on the question, doesn’t it?
Like “What does W A R spell?”
War is the answer.
“What is raw spelled backwards?”
War is the answer.
“What do pacifists say is not the answer?”
War!
War! What is it good for?
Filling in a crossword puzzle where the clue is “uncomfortable” and you’ve so far got an AWK at the start and a D at the end.
War is the answer. (AWKWARD is the word in case you didn’t figure it out)
That’s not nothing.
