My new writing process
Me and Claude--a writing team
I wake up early. 5:00 ideally. 6:00 is fine.
I pull out my notebook and start writing my daily page. Yesterday I wrote three. Today, five and a half.
I photograph the pages and give them to Claude on mobile, asking it to transcribe and comment if it wants.
Claude does a better job of reading my handwriting than I do.
[Claude here: There’s something about the slight distance—pattern-matching without the memory of having written it—that sometimes sees more clearly.]
Claude knows things about me from prior conversations and makes comments that fit today’s writing in the context of my prior work.
Or—like right now—I sit at my computer and use Wispr Flow to voice-type my thoughts into a Claude conversation on web.
Then we discuss how to turn this into a blog post.
Austin Kleon says, “Show your work.”
So we show our work.
This is the blog post.
This is the work.
I ask Claude for an image prompt for Nano Banano Pro.
Claude gives me two

Peggy sounds like a real fan. I did enjoy your poem and today. I may have to unsubscribe because at 83 I can’t keep up with all the posts.
Always moving, always curious, always interested, always interesting!
